I respect your privacy and only collect personal information where it is necessary to run this website and send my email newsletter.

Email newsletter

If you subscribe to my newsletter, I collect your email address so that I can send you short fiction, notes from the writing desk and updates about my writing, including The Fifth Man.

Subscriptions use a confirmation process, so you will be asked to confirm your email address before being added to the mailing list.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in newsletter emails.

Buttondown

I use Buttondown to manage newsletter subscriptions and send emails.

When you subscribe, information associated with your subscription is processed by Buttondown on my behalf. This can include your email address, IP address, referral information and subscription timestamps.

Buttondown is based in the United States and provides contractual safeguards for processing personal data, including its Data Processing Agreement.

How I use your information

Information you provide through the newsletter signup is used only to manage your subscription and send you the emails you have requested.

I do not sell your personal information or provide my mailing list to advertisers.
